Dental Solutions for Missing Teeth

When it comes to addressing missing teeth, Coolamon Dental Centre offers a range of effective dental solutions tailored to each patient’s unique needs. These include:

Dental implants

A permanent solution that involves surgically placing titanium posts into the jawbone to anchor lifelike dental crowns, providing a natural-looking and functional replacement for missing teeth.

Dental Bridges

A fixed prosthetic device that bridges the gap created by missing teeth. It consists of dental crowns on either side of the gap, supported by adjacent teeth or dental implants.

Removable appliances available in partial or full sets to replace multiple missing teeth. Dentures can be made of acrylic, metal, or a combination of materials to suit individual needs.

Implant-Supported Dentures

A hybrid option that combines the stability of dental implants with the convenience of dentures. Implants are used to anchor and support the dentures, offering enhanced stability and comfort.

A specialised dental implant technique where a full arch of teeth is supported by only four strategically placed dental implants, providing a stable and efficient solution for full-mouth restoration.

Veneers and Crowns

Cosmetic options that can help improve the appearance of teeth adjacent to the gap caused by missing teeth, creating a seamless and aesthetic smile.

A Guide to Good Oral Hygiene

Taking care of your teeth is essential for maintaining good oral health and preventing dental problems. Here are some essential tips to help you keep your teeth healthy:

  1. Brush your teeth at least twice daily with fluoride toothpaste to remove plaque and prevent cavities.
  2. Flossing helps remove food particles and plaque between teeth and along the gumline, where the toothbrush cannot reach.
  3. Rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash to reduce bacteria and freshen your breath.
  4. Limit sugary and acidic foods and beverages that can erode enamel and cause cavities. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, and calcium-rich foods in your diet for strong teeth.
  5. Smoking and chewing tobacco can lead to various dental issues, including stained teeth and gum disease. Excessive alcohol consumption can also contribute to oral health problems.
  6. Visit your dentist for regular check-ups and cleanings to detect and prevent dental issues early on.

Everyone working at Coolamon Dental are so helpful & friendly. Dr. Gen is so patient with me knowing I am terrified of going to the dentist. The ladies in reception put you at ease as soon as you come in the door. They are so friendly & have a laugh with you which helps when you are so nervous. The dentist explains everything that's going to be done so there are no surprises. The rooms are absolutely spotless. I now don't mind going to this dentist. Can highly recommend Coolamon Dental.

Shaun and Jenny were fantastic.
I came in for a toothache and they were able to fit me in. I'm a nervous patient and Shaun did an amazing job of calming my nerves and explaining the issue and options and then sorted the problem with minimal discomfort.

I'll be back for regular checkups!

The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. The dentist was gentle and thoughtful. As I'm in a wheelchair he and his nurse were also very helpful. I recommend this practice and will go to them in the future.
